Most recent research has concerned mood embodiment in both healthy individuals and patients with depressive disorders."

Both a student and a research engineer; his Ph.D. dealt with behavioral and neural changes in eye-movement control across normal aging, elderly depression, and Alzheimer's disease. Defended December 11, 2017.

Researches the relation of unresolvable stress to depression, combining experimentation, psychometrics and clinical approaches — notably the validity of the burnout–depression distinction. Awarded the University of Franche-Comté "Young doctor" prize (2015). Defended November 13, 2014.

Visited the lab during his Ph.D. (2011) for a project on color–semantics interactions during perception of visual scenes: self-reported emotions, eye movements, pupillometry and electrodermal response.
